I’m surprised?! Not sure exactly how to feel about this shade just yet, especially since it’s polar opposite of last year’s color: Tangerine Tango! I have yet to see this hue decked out in a home so far this year, come to think of it… at all really. It kind of reminds me of a funky portion of the 90′s?(dark green carpets come to mind… was that in the ’90′s?)
I do, however, think that different shades of emerald, and of course used in fashion or as accent pieces or decor accent walls- I’m sure can be pulled off no problem. For the full press release- Click Here.

I’m a big fan of Martyn Lawrence Bullard- he’s a famous worldly award winning interior designer. His resume includes celebrities such as Cher, Sir Elton John, Christina Aguilera, Eva Mendes, Kid Rock, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, etc. His impressive resume also includes commercial projects such as the Colony Palms Hotel Group, which is where I first saw his work after watching and learning about him on Bravo TV- I enjoyed an awesome weekend stay at their Palm Springs Colony Palms Hotel last year, soaked up the atmosphere and savored the experience… it was like I was in a land far far away! His own home was just featured in Elle Decor and I can’t wait to pick up a copy!
